Nice for ambient. Quite even relaxing for me.

Good job!

My recommendation is to you to make some transitions from drum sample to drum sample, for the change to not be so drastic. But, still, it's your song, not mine.

Is there any specific lyrics?

The drum beat was a bit disappointing for my opinion, but I know it gives it a good touch. A bit repetitive after some moments, but it sounds pretty decent.

MRM3 responds:

So far, my music journey has been "not know anything, and figure it all out as I go" I've been trying to do a good song in every genre, I don't know exactly what genre this falls under, ngl. Started out trying my hand at Phonk, but I ended up getting high and going on whatever journey this was.
It's decent so I figured I'd post it.
Phonk has a specific sound and that is what I was going for with this one. The drums, as you mentioned, are not very expressive in this genre, and definitely not add much variation in this one.
I am, however, cookin' up another attempt at this genre, and am much happier with how it's coming along.

I was waiting for a better guitar to come and replace the first one, but it never came.
I really like the drums. They sound awesome.

As said, I was waiting a low and heavy guitar to come for give it more strength. But it's still a very good cover!

MRM3 responds:

I'm still in the process of getting a professional-sounding metal mix down.
I'm pretty happy with this one. It isn't a "low and heavy" kind of song, it gets its energy from fast-paced riffs and the drums. A re-master might be helpful, there are some minor changes I'd make, but overall, I'm pretty happy with how this one came out.

Chilly, catching and interesting

Nice piano!

I love how the melody sounds jazzy but it still isn't.

Have you tried more piano reverbs and sound effects?

RealTin3Sn responds:

Thnks for the review!

Funny I actually put max Reverb in LMMs on this piano, maybe it's still not enough. And yes I have tried adding even more reverb than that.

As for the jazzy angle I never even saw that until you mentioned it. I was more aiming for Nintendo and Duck Life or something like that, but I guess there is that jazziness to it. Atypical pitches much?

Perfect for guitar solo listening.

And I think it's missing a bass? Or something deep to mix up with the beat of the drums.

Nice melodies

MRM3 responds:

Thanks for the review!

Metal is a hard genre to produce well. The bass is playing in tandem with the guitars, and they all meld together to form one huge wall of sound. It is also a fact that I never finished this project so I'm sure it is under mixed.

I thought the intro couldn't be better, but then the lyrics made it's entrance, and both combined sounds goood

Almost five stars, because of the vocals to be a bit more louder than what I prefer, but good instrumental, nice drums, and great guitar melodies. But where's the bass?

I tried to make songs with guitars like this one, but I can't find to give it the touch you have.

MRM3 responds:

I'm in the process of trying to get a "good sounding" song in every genre, and metal is definitely one of the hardest I've come across. As far as sound design goes, it is very hard to get everything to sit right in the mix, for your guitars to sound big, for the bass to fit properly, and for the drums to still punch through the mix.
Fortunately, the requirement for getting better is... giving it another shot :p
We'll keep trying and eventually figure out what we'regoing for.

Mortal Kombaaaaat!!!!

I like the intro melody, and how it ends up getting so good. The reverb you use for it gives it a nice touch. The bass also gives it an environmental effect, even if it's only used at the outro.

Keep up the good job! I like it!

MRM3 responds:

Haha, the toothbrush cover. I've become infamous at my school for this one.
It would have been longer, and I was building up for a dubstep drop but the time limit on the competition ended, and this is where I was at.

Peak.

Nice guitar melody, and such cool synth intro. I love the guitar and how the drums sounds, they are quite different from what I've used to hear, and it's a great chance for me to seek for new music. Nice job!

And now, the only opposite comment for my opinion: the drums are a quite bit loud in contrast with the guitars.

I would love to see this song be continued. Would it be?

MRM3 responds:

I must have not hit submit on my response.
I'm really happy with how this one came out. Mostly just a tone test, and I really mixed the hell out of it, was able to get into a surround sound studio for mastering.
This is as close to perfection as I've ever gotten.
I am not planning on continuing this, as it was made for a classmate as part of a big mashup.

Quite nice ambient!

Thank you!
